Description

BR 4MT class 4-6-0 locomotive No. 75072 (built 1955) arrives at Shillingstone, passing over the barrow crossing, photographed with flash.

Meanwhile, waiting at the Up (Bath-bound) platform, is an Ivatt 2MT Class locomotive with number starting 41— so this photo may well have been taken on the same occasion.

75072 is shown as being allocated to Bath Green Park from 1956 until October 1962 and withdrawn in April 1966.
