Description

Peter and his usual driver, Donald Beale were well-known on the S&D for their locomotive handling.

On 5 January 1962, Donald and Peter gave Tony Richardson a footplate ride from Blandford to Bath and back again to Blandford. Here is another photo of Peter Smith firing No. 73019. There is a selection of images from this day, as shown below.
