Description

Fowler S&D 7F No. 53809 (built 1925 as S&D No. 89, with 82F Bath Green Park shedplate) photographed having just emerged from Devonshire Tunnel, Bath, on a Nottingham-Bournemouth service for which the reporting code of 1O91 is being shown. There is no date available for this image but through services were diverted in September 1962.

53809 is shown as already allocated to Bath Green Park at the time of nationalisation in 1948 and remaining there until withdrawal in May/June 1964.
