Description

BR Standard Class 9F No. 92204 (built 1959) – with 82F (Bath Green Park) shedplate – is passing under Cliff bridge in gloomy conditions with a northbound passenger service in 1960, the year the 9Fs were first introduced on the S&D.

Cliff cutting was infilled in the ’80s and early ’90s but the North Dorset Trailway runs over the top of the infill. One of the parapets of the bridge still stands.
