Description

Fowler 4F Class No. 44560 (built 1922, with 82G Templecombe shedplate) is seen departing from Blandford with a short southbound goods service of five vehicles plus brake van.

44560 is shown as already allocated to Bath Green Park at nationalisation in 1948, moving to Templecombe in March/April 1960 before going to Gloucester in November 1964 and being withdrawn in 1965.

A miniature semaphore ground signal can be seen near to the rear of the train in the high res. image.
