BR Standard Class 9F No. 92000 (built 1954), and with 82F (Bath Green Park) shedplate, is pictured in bright sunshine just south of Blandford with a Down Bradford-Bournemouth service of ten carriages in summer 1961. A reporting code of 1O94 is displayed.
92000 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from May/June to September/October 1961.
The bridge over the River Stour, and an accommodation [farm access] underbridge are visible behind the train. This indicates that the photo has been taken from the next road bridge, a view that today is filled by a supermarket car park and filling station.
