Description

BR Standard Class 5 No. 73054 (built 1954) – with 82F (Bath Green Park) shedplate – runs into a shaft of sunlight while passing Templecombe Lower Yard with the Down Pines Express. 73054 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from March/April 1961 until withdrawal in August 1965.

In the sidings can be seen Great Western Collett 2251 Class No. 3215 (built 1947 and allocated to Templecombe from summer 1960 until withdrawal in early 1963) plus Fowler 3F Class No. 47542 (built 1927 and allocated to Templecombe in November 1958 and withdrawn in May 1962).

Although there is no date given for the image, a date range of March 1961-May 1962 is indicated.
