Description

BR Standard Class 5 Nos. 73024 (built 1951, with 82F Bath Green Park shedplate) and 73051 (built 1954) are on the 9.08 am Birmingham New Street to Bournmouth West service, reporting code 1O90 displayed, near Moorewood.

73051 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from new until withdrawal in December 1965. 73024 has an 82F shedplate in the photo and – although brdatabase.info and the SLS allocations do not mention it – Longworth lists a brief Bath Green Park allocation from June ’til July 1962. This therefore may indicate when the photo was taken.
