Description

BR Standard Class 5 No. 73052 (built 1954) – with 82F shedplate – is seen on the Down Pines Express (with 8 carriages visible, though there were almost certainly more) near Corfe Mullen.

This is on the single-track line between Broadstone and Corfe Mullen Junction that was built in the 1880s to avoid the need for S&D traffic to reverse at Wimborne.

73052 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from new until withdrawal in December 1964/January 1965.
