Description

On a dull, gloomy day, BR 4MT class 4-6-0 locomotive No. 75071 (built 1955, with 82F Bath Green Park shedplate) heads a six-carriage Up passenger service away from Cole station, passing over Cole viaduct. Sunny Hill School can be seen in the distance. No date is given for this image but it is likely to be 1962 or earlier, based upon allocations.

Cole station is just visible in the background.

75071 is shown as being allocated to Bath Green Park from mid-1956 and to Templecombe from November 1962 to July 1964. Withdrawn in August 1967.
