BR Standard Class 4 No. 76026 (built 1953, with 71A Eastleigh shedplate) is seen leaving on a Down (Bournemouth-bound) passenger service while Fowler 4F Class No. 44560 (built 1922 as S&D No. 60, with 82G Templecombe shedplate) is operating in the sidings.

The loading gauge is just visible, going off the photo. Platform water column and Down starting signal visible.

76026 is shown as being allocated to Eastleigh and then to Bournemouth from August 1961 until withdrawal in July 1967. 44560 is shown as already allocated to Bath Green Park at nationalisation in 1948, moving to Templecombe in April 1960 before going to Gloucester in November 1964 and being withdrawn in September 1965.

As a result of these allocations, a date range of April 1960 to August 1961 is indicated.
