Description

BR Standard Class 4 No. 75009 (built 1951, with 82G Templecombe shedplate) and BR Standard Class 9F No. 92001 (built 1954) on the Up Pines Express with not less than 12 carriages in Lyncombe Vale, approaching Devonshire Tunnel.

75009 is shown as allocated to Templecombe in September/October 1961 until November 1962. 92001 is shown as allocated to Bath Green Park from May/June to October/November 1961 and again from June/July 1962 until the following September/October. These allocations indicate the date range of the photo.
