The Somerset & Dorset Railway Trust is pleased to announce two new, and important, additions to its management team.
Company Secretary – Abbie Onibonoje
Abbie has occupied several positions in senior management of various organisations, including the voluntary sector, with responsibilities covering governance, regulatory affairs and human resources. She has previously held the post of Company Secretary in a number of companies with whom she has been involved. Abbie’s appointment will provide valuable support and resilience to the Board.
Health & Safety Officer – Mark Stanistreet
Mark is a professional railwayman with a wealth of experience in project managing time-critical projects of considerable size and complexity. These have covered both infrastructure and rolling stock and have been for franchises and regional transport delivery groups. Mark will carry out an audit of all of our present H&S procedures and, going forward, will advise the Board on matters which affect the well-being of Trust volunteers and on the management of various projects the Trust is expecting to undertake in the near future.
