Ex-SR rebuilt Bulleid ‘Merchant Navy’ class 4-6-2 locomotive No. 35029 ‘Ellerman Lines’ (with 70A Nine Elms shedplate) travelling light engine from Bournemouth Central to Bournemouth West for Up Waterloo passenger train, with SR headcode no. 14, disc and lamp, (Waterloo or Nine Elms & Brockenhurst & Bournemouth West) Branksome triangle, Bournemouth West Junction signalbox middle distance. Thursday 20 July 1961.

The loco is travelling tender-first down the now-dismantled east chord of the Branksome Triangle.

Today, the loco serves as a sectioned example for educational purposes at the National Railway Museum.
