Make a Donation: 53808's overhaul

All donations are currently being designated to the overhaul of 53808.

Whilst we have funding arrangements in place from the past use of the locomotive, extra funds need to be raised to cover the very major works to be undertaken, including:

– Re-tyring of the eight driving wheels.

– Significant reconstruction of the tender frames which are heavily corroded.

– Construction of a new tender tank.
