Description

View looking north-west at Winsor Hill, taken from close to the north portal of the down line tunnel. Shows the disused sidings and stone-crushing plant of Ham Wood Quarry on the up side, to the left, and the site of Winsor Hill Quarry to the right.

Platelayers’ hut and abandoned signalbox in foreground. Ham Wood viaduct in the distance. It is believed that the photo was taken in 1965.
