Classic book by Birn Brothers Ltd, London – approx 1950

Fair condition hardback – plenty of wear to book edges and bumping to corners, some age soiling to boards and some fraying and scuffing. Internal hinge requires repair.

It was a general book – A4 – about railways in the UK and abroad with illustrations and text, aimed  at children 5-10 approx who are interested in railways. The structure of it is that a brother and sister who had a father who travelled extensively and used to tell them about the different aspects of railways he had used in his travels.
