Description

Ex-MR Johnson/Fowler 2P 4-4-0 locomotive no. 524 (with 22A Bristol Barrow Road shedplate, built Derby 1898, withdrawn from 10B Preston in 1954 as BR no. 40524) light engine on the upper station spur lines at Templecombe, possibly after piloting southbound train (headed by loco no. 5194) out of upper station following arrival of no. 524 with Bath train, Templecombe Junction signalbox behind loco, note up line signals either side of tracks, Wednesday 6 July 1938.
