Ex-SR rebuilt Bulleid ‘Merchant Navy’ class 4-6-2 locomotive No. 35029 ‘Ellerman Lines’ (allocated to 70A Nine Elms) hauling the Pullman passenger train ‘Bournemouth
Belle’ with SR headcode no. 14 (Waterloo & Bournemouth West, train reporting nos. 33 and 309) at Bournemouth West Junction. The train is heading up the now-dismantled east chord of the triangle. Saturday 15 July 1961.

Bournemouth West Junction signal box can also be seen.

Today, the loco serves as a sectioned example for educational purposes at the National Railway Museum.
