 Ex-SR rebuilt Bulleid ‘West Country’ class 4-6-2 locomotive No. 34098 ‘Templecombe’ (allocated to 75A Brighton, transferred to 72A Exmouth Junction November 1960), passenger train with SR headcode no. 26 (Brighton & Bournemouth, train reporting no. 730), near Branksome. Undated, circa 1960.

The train is heading down the now-dismantled east chord of the triangle; viaduct also in view. The train is making its way from Bournemouth Central to either Bournemouth West or the depot.
