Description

Fowler 4F Class No. 44102 (built 1925) heading Bulleid West Country Class No. 34043 Combe Martin (built 1946, withdrawn 1963) on a Down through service of 12 carriages just short of the Chilcompton Tunnels.

The location is nowadays the approximate end of the restored track from Midsomer Norton South station.

44102 is shown as allocated to Templecombe at nationalisation in 1948 then allocated to Bath Green Park in late 1963 prior to withdrawal in September 1964.
