King Arthur Class No. 30782 ‘Sir Brian’ heads the Locomotive Club of Great Britain’s The South Western Limited railtour on Sunday 18 September 1960.

The locomotive is shown as allocated to Bournemouth from 1951 until withdrawal in September 1962.

Also in the picture is S&D 7F No. 53804 (originally S&D No. 84) which is awaiting the arrival of the special in order to take it over the S&D.
