Richard Barton receiving the Mike Palmer Trophy
Chris Nevard with Ankle Bend Crossing

Winner of the Mike Palmer Trophy was Richard Barton for Fox Walker No. 9 in O gauge with the highly commended award going to John Wakeman for his kitbuilt 7F in OO.

Winner of the S&D Modellers cup was Chris Nevard with a factional diorama of Ankle Bend crossing in OO. Highly commended going to Neil Pankhurst for the Titfield Thunderbolt (including Lion/Titfield), also in OO.

I hope we will see articles on the winners in a future edition of the Pines. Overall the competition was a great success with entries 50% up on last year. If you didn't enter this year then get cracking on a project for next
years AGM.
