Wurzel Junction A Somerset & Dorset Model Railway in 00 with DCC control. "Wurzel Junction was located at the Junction of the North Somerset and Somerset and Dorset Railways. Deep in the Somerset coal fields, the North Somerset provided an alternative route to Bristol and the North. Reduced congestion on the single track section of the S&D increased the importance of Wurzel Junction. The motive power depot became a vital engine change over point, and a wide variety of motive power was frequently seen. The town developed around coal, and Somerset's finest scrumpy, "Wurzel Juice". "
