This small country station on the GWR branch line from Taunton to Minehead is now preserved on the West Somerset Railway. This layout is a representation of what the station would have been like in the 1960's.

| 2. West Pennard by Shepton and District MRC |
West Pennard was an intermediate station on the Somerset and Dorset Railway's branchline which ran from Evercreech Junction to Bridgwater and Burnham-On-Sea. The model
is a faithful copy of the original.

Originally inspired by an article on Radstock wagon works in an old "Model Railway" magazine from 1972. The layout represents a small
carriage works somewhere in South Wales. The period and rolling stock on the layout is pre-grouping early 1920's.
