Christmas Cards - Pack of 10

Price £4.95

This years Christmas card features one of Ivo Peter's classic snowy shots of Binegar Station. At Binegar the snow had almost reached up to platform level in the station. Much of this had to be dug out the hard way, by hand, before it was safe for the plough engine and her assistant engine to pass through on their way to tackle clearance of the up line between Binegar and Shepton Mallet on 6th January 1963. Had the snow built up between the platform edge and the side of the plough, it could easily have led to the engine’s derailment.

Pack of 10 cards with matching envelopes.
